UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENT! Caterpillar 930K Wheel Loader [Norscot 1:50]

Norscot has released the first photos off their next to release Caterpillar scale model in their 1:50 Construction Diecast Series:

• Caterpillar 930K Wheel Loader # 55266

The Caterpillar 930K Wheel Loader is released by Caterpillar early 2012 and is designed with the new optimized Z-bar loader linkage which delivers the performance and breakout forces of a traditional Z-bar linkage with the parallelism and load handling capability of a tool carrier. The Caterpillar 930K Series Small Wheel Loaders saves 15%-30% versus the “H” Series predecessors with lower engine speeds translating into long engine service life intervals.

• Caterpillar C6.6 Acert EPA Tier 4-interim and EU fase IIIB Engine
• Net Power – ISO 9249: 156hp
• Maximum Gross Vehicle Weight: 30,4793lb
• Bucket Capacities: 2.7 yd3 - 6.5 yd3

This model is by Norscot equipped with a pallet fork and as an accessory is a standard bucket supplied. The model has articulated steering in the Front and the Rear axle oscillates up and down. The Tires have actual tread design. Retail Price: US $59.95 plus shipping. The scale model will be, if all goes according to plan, available for sales in the early spring of 2014.

Tonkin has released the first photos off their next to release Caterpillar scale model in their 1:50 Construction Diecast Series:

• Caterpillar 966K Wheel Loader #TR10003

The Caterpillar 966K Wheel Loader is released by Caterpillar end 2011 and replaces the Caterpillar 966G series II and is designed to improve operator comfort, performance, and productivity, all while meeting Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB emission standards. The Performance Series Buckets enhance visibility and decrease cycle times.

• Caterpillar C7 C9.3 Acert Stage IIIB (Tier 4)Engine
